Forward Tipping Dumper

Outcome of Attending Training

Operators of Forward Tipping Dumpers will be able to identify the basic construction, purpose and function of components and the purpose and use of all controls and gauges.

Identify and comply with manufacturer’s instructions in accordance with the operator's handbook, other information sources and applicable legislation.

Carry out pre-use and running checks.

Set the machine for site and road travel.

Travel over various types of terrains.

Travel up and down substantial inclines in a loaded and unloaded state.

Manoeuvre in confined space, in a loaded and unloaded state.

Position the dumper to receive loads.

Comply with loading procedures.

Ensure load integrity and security.

Discharge loads into trenches or over edge.

Place the machine in and out of service condition.

Be able to explain the loading and unloading procedure on and off transporters.

 

Achievement

On successful completion of the Assessment and H&S Touch Screen Test, your details will be registered with CITB for approval. After approximately 28 days we will then be able to issue you with your CPCS Trained Operator Card.
