Outcome of Attending Training

Identify and comply with manufacturers instructions in accordance with the operator’s handbook, other information sources and applicable legislation.

Carry out pre-use and running checks.

Configure the excavator for site travel.

Travel over various types of terrains.

Manoeuvre in confined spaces.

Excavate below ground level on a variety of excavations in different ground types.

Place spoil into various sizes of vehicle / hoppers.

Grade, spread and level different types of terrain.

Remove and reattach buckets.

Place the machine in and out of service condition.

Be able to explain the loading and unloading procedures on and off transporters.

Achievement

On successful completion of the Assessment and H&S Touch Screen Test, your details will be registered with CITB for approval. After approximately 28 days we will then be able to issue you with your CPCS Trained Operator Card.
